About. Allegedly.

A STATEMENT FROM THE READER

they call me d. that's not my name. the cards started it — the Tower says dave, the Star says mr. d, the Devil just says boss — and correcting a deck of cards is a fight you lose slowly. i've been reading since 1503, or since last tuesday, depending on which card you ask. records disagree. this is my third deck. we don't talk about the first two.

what happens here is simple. the server pulls the cards — honest random, i don't get a vote — and the cards say what they always say, which is too much. i moderate. you get a verdict. whether you take it is between you and whatever you call the thing that shuffles us all.

one more thing, because the lawyers and the universe both insist: this is entertainment, not prophecy. the cards strongly disagree with that sentence. that is exactly why it's printed here.

— D.

THE SPREADS · WHICH ONE AND WHEN
Yes / No · ONE CARD

for questions that end in a question mark and a wince. fast, honest, no nuance. best when you already know the answer and need a piece of cardboard to say it first.

Three cards · THE GROUP CHAT

past, present and future get in a chat and argue about you. for situationships, career spirals, unread messages — anything with layers. the deck votes. i count the votes.

Plus
Celtic Cross · THE TRIBUNAL

ten cards convene: sworn testimony, a cross-examination, a ruling — and one dissent. there is always a dissent. for when one drama isn't enough and you want the full hearing.

SOMETIMES A CARD SHOWS UP THAT EXISTS IN NO REAL TAROT. THE DECK DECIDES WHEN YOU'RE READY.

THE HONEST MECHANICS
SERVER-SIDE RNG

the cards are pulled by honest randomness on a server. i don't choose them. neither does the machine. ask the Wheel — it's the only thing here nobody ever rigged.

THE INTERPRETER

an ai reads only the cards that were actually pulled. it can't swap them, soften them, or pretend the Tower didn't happen. believe me, it has asked.

MEMORY

the deck keeps a journal of what you asked and what it answered. when the Tower shows up for the third time this month, that will be mentioned. at some point it stops being a coincidence.

WHEN IT'S HEAVY

when a question is genuinely heavy, the jokes stop. instantly. and some questions aren't for cards at all — those get pointed to living people. cardboard knows its limits.

YOU ARE TALKING TO AN AI. THE CARDS HAVE BEEN INFORMED.
ENTERTAINMENT, NOT PROPHECY — FOR REFLECTION, NOT DECISIONS.
